Tiny Weddings – Legals Only

If you’re looking for a simple, stress free and cost effective way to get married without all the fuss of a wedding this is it! Just the legals over a cup of coffee or a glass of bubbles. No ceremony (other than the legal wording) although you can certainly write your own vows, exchange rings and of course take that first married kiss!

This is the perfect addon if you’re planning a Bali wedding. Enjoy the security of Australian documentation before celebrating your marriage overseas.

Inclusions:
• Lodgement of Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) – a minimum of 30 days’ prior
• Email, phone & online consultations (Zoom, Facebook Video Chat, FaceTime)
• Catch up at my Newstead (Brisbane) home or a location within 5klm
• A few happy snaps on your camera or smartphone (if requested)
• Registration of your marriage with Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM)
• Maximum of marrying couple + 2 witnesses

A relaxed ceremony celebrating romance and love. This is the perfect option if you just want to keep things simple or are planning an intimate elopement.

What My Professional Fee includes:
Many hours of my time go into creating the perfect ceremony to celebrate your marriage, here’s a brief sample of what it takes:
• First meeting to discuss your ceremony and wedding day (usually 60+ minutes)
• Preparation, checking and lodgment of all legal documents
• The co-creation and draft outline of your ceremony, including readings and rituals
• Completion of final draft for your consideration and approval
• Assistance with writing your personal vows to each other
• Unlimited meetings, phone calls, emails etc from the point of contact right through to your wedding day and beyond.
• Preparation of Certificates
• Final pre-ceremony meeting to finalise paperwork
• Attend rehearsal (if requested)
• Travel to your wedding venue
• My professional services on your Wedding Day
• Use of my high-quality PA system for music and readings
• Lodgment of legal documents with Births, Deaths & Marriages including forwarding the application for Certificate of Marriage on your behalf

On Your Wedding Day
On your wedding day, I’ll arrive 30 mins before the ceremony to liaise with your photographer, videographer and any of your other wedding professionals so you can relax and enjoy your wedding confident that you’re in experienced hands.

I also like to meet your family, liaise with any other participants in the ceremony so they know where to stand and encourage your guests to be seated and relaxed so you can make the entrance you’ve always dreamed of!
